Along these lines, have these jobs told you when they'd want you to start?

I'm superstitious, so I wouldn't get too far ahead of myself on these, but it's perfectly reasonable to ask "When are you looking to have this person in place?" at each company. I'm guessing they know that you're not currently employed. If both jobs say about the same time, you can try to speed higher pay up in their process by telling them you're talking to other companies, but you really like them. If higher says Q2, and lower says "before end of year", then you've got a different decision. But I'd still pursue lower. Bird in hand and all...
